The capital of the region is famous for the Corinth Canal connecting the Aegean Sea with the Corinthian Gulf. This now iconic canal separating the mainland of Greece from the Peloponnese, is well worth a visit as are Isthmia with its submersible bridge and Ancient Corinth.
